Beautiful sunshine from Friday to Sunday and and a thermometer rising up to 17 °C lured masses onto the streets and into the parks of Brussels. My backyard, the Park Josaphat, was so full on Sunday that when I reopened my private jogging season – after my mother has reminded me that my next target, the half marathon at the Bonn Marathon on 20th April is less than 12 weeks ahead – I literally had to fight my way through the crowds. Weren’t it for the bare trees, you could have imagined a summer folk festival going on there…
